Each year, we organise approximately five theatre visits for members, usually to Malvern Theatre.

What’s the format of the outings?

Coach transport departs from Alcester to Malvern Theatre in time to have lunch before the afternoon matinee.  We aim for four or five trips a year to Saturday matinees and try to select a good variety of shows- serious theatre, comedy, musical etc and aim for difference. Theatre trips are restricted to 40 people as this gives us a good discount on seats, and room in the coach.

How much will it cost?

It varies, but usually £30-£45 each (which includes coach travel, theatre ticket and driver gratuity).  Booking lists are available at the monthly meetings; payment is required by BACS transfer (preferred), cash or cheque when booking. (We maintain a reserve list when the 40 seats are sold to accommodate withdrawals.)

Do I need to bring anything?  Weather appropriate clothing and cash to buy lunch/go shopping.
