The aim of the group is to help members carry out research into their own family history.

What’s the format of the sessions?  Casual – We explore various methods of researching and help each other to locate information.

Is there a set programme?  No, although occasionally a topic will be set at the request of a group member.

Do I need any prior knowledge or experience?  No

How much will it cost?  Nothing.

Do I need to bring anything to the sessions?

Any information you have about the family you want to research, plus birth/marriage/death certificates etc to use as a starting point.
