Alcester u3a was set up in 1992 and now has more than 400 members. It was the first of five local u3as covering South Warwickshire and has established a reputation for being friendly and welcoming. u3a members draw upon their skills, knowledge and experience to teach and learn from each other, and we ask our members to consider how they can contribute to this, such as by joining the Committee, starting or helping with an interest group, preparing refreshments or befriending new members.

Our monthly meetings for members are normally held, on the first Tuesday of each month, at 2.30pm at the Greig Hall, Alcester. We have a guest speaker and the afternoon concludes with tea/coffee and biscuits. We also have a wide variety of interest groups for members to join and other activities including theatre visits and holidays.
